Charging a Tesla in Portugal, the basics.

Whether you're driving through Portugal on a European road trip or just visiting, here's what you need to know.

Superchargers

Portugal is well covered by the Tesla Supercharger network, V2 (150 kW), V3 (250 kW) and V4 stalls along the main routes. Plug-and-charge works exactly like elsewhere in Europe; billing goes to your Tesla account.

See the official map at tesla.com/findus.

Public AC / DC network

Portugal has a country-wide public charging network called Mobi.E. To use it you need to be signed up with a comerciante (retailer), most operators accept ad-hoc payments via app too. Read the detailed Charging in Portugal guide.

Home charging (if you have friends here)

Portuguese homes use European Schuko sockets (Type F) and industrial CEE outlets. A Tesla Mobile Connector with the right adapter works with either.

Community

The Tesla Club Portugal is a volunteer community. If you're visiting and have questions, drop a note in the Facebook group, English is welcome.
